Cool & Wet Weather Returns To SW Montana & Butte

Another round of cool and wet weather will move back up into SW Montana Sunday night through Tuesday.

Snow levels should stay fairly high Sunday night above 7,000' but could fall down to most mountain passes Monday into Tuesday. 

New pacific storm will bring widespread valley rain and mountain Sunday night across Western Montana and slowly drift eastward Monday into Tuesday.

Higher mountains will see accumulating snow over the next 3 days.

Micro Climate Forecast:

BOZEMAN: Low: 36, High: 56. A few showers possible Sunday evening to Monday morning but increasing valley rain is likely by Monday afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and snow levels will be high above 6,000' with several inches of mountain snow possible. SW Winds most of the time around 15 MPH but there will be increasing surface winds Monday afternoon 10 to 30 MPH.

BUTTE: Low: 35, High: 47. Numerous rain showers Sunday night into Monday morning. Scattered rain or snow is likely Monday with a slight chance for a rumble of thunder. Surface winds will be increasing Monday afternoon 15 to 25 MPH and gusting at times to 30 MPH.

DILLON: Low: 35, High: 49.  Increasing valley rain and higher mountain snow above 7,500' with several inches likely Sunday night through Monday night. Monday look for valley rain and mountain snow to continue with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. SW winds will be picking up 10 to 20 MPH and gusts to 30 MPH are possible. 

WEST YELLOWSTONE: Low: 31, High: 44. Scattered rain or snow is possible by Monday morning otherwise mostly cloudy and cool. Showers will be increasing by afternoon and evening. Gusty winds at times as a cold front passes through your region Monday. Probability of wet weather is high 70%.
