Six people killed in Montana crashes since July 6

Six people have died in a series of crashes since July 6 bringing the total amount of roadway deaths in July to 14.

The most recent crash occurred on Sunday morning when a 40-year-old Idaho man crashed his motorcycle at the Montana-Idaho border in Lincoln County.

A 55-year-old Stevensville man died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday night near Stevensville.

A five-year-old girl also died from injuries she received when the horse she was riding was hit by a vehicle near Hardin on Friday.

A Columbia Falls man and a Kalispell woman died in a single-vehicle crash after colliding with a rock wall early Saturday morning near Plains. Both of the individuals were 35-years-old.

And a 53-year-old Kalispell woman died on Friday after crashing her motorcycle near Libby.

The statewide total is now at 78 deaths this year. We do not have the identities of any of the individuals in the most recent crashes, but we will update that information when it's available.
