Two people were found dead east of Stevensville Tuesday night.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton told MTN News that this incident may have started as a domestic dispute.
It is unknown what happened, but now two people are dead in an apparent homicide shortly before 7 p.m.
The names of the victims have not been released.
Sheriff Holton confirmed the man taken into custody from the Missoula car chase on Tuesday night is a suspect in the double homicide.
Ravalli County Sheriff Holton says there is no further danger to the public in the area and told MTN the investigation will continue tomorrow.
