BOZEMAN – A slight warming trend will continue through Tuesday. Temperatures could rise into the upper 40s to mid 50s for SW Montana and for those areas that did see snow over the weekend most of the valley snow will melt away.

The next weather maker is the combination of a Pacific storm moving in from the WNW and cold Canadian air digging in from the north.

A significant temperature drop is coming beginning Thursday and lasting through next weekend. Forecast highs in the 20s and 30s with morning lows falling into the teens and even single digits by Sunday morning.

Pacific moisture mixing with Canadian cold air will produce areas of snow, wind, and difficult travel Thursday through Sunday.

If you haven’t winterized your vehicle now is the time to do so as more snow and cold is around the corner.
