On April 16, the “Disney Family Singalong” aired on ABC, giving families the chance to watch to top artists perform classic songs from Disney movies from their homes. The lyrics were displayed on the screen as well so viewers could sing along with them.
Performers included Beyonce, Josh Groban, Christina Aguilera, Derek Hough, Auli’i Cravalho, the “High School Musical” cast and Ariana Grande.
Check out her epic rendition in the clip posted to YouTube below:
Wow! In the movie, the character of Megara sings “I Won’t Say I’m In Love,” and Grande’s lavender ensemble is a great take on Megara’s look in the film. Megara also has the accompaniment of five muses for her performance — which Grande tackled in an impressive solo, six-part harmony, using camera features to show the six different versions of herself all singing together.
Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, took to Twitter to explain that Grande was able to execute the flawless performance all from her iPhone:

“Wow wow wow,” he wrote in his retweet of ABC’s video of her performance. “She sang all the parts and melodies on her iPhone and mixed it and shot all the parts on her iPhone in a day.”
The special also included messages raising awareness and funds for Feeding America, a nonprofit organization that is spearheading the effort to provide relief to food banks during the coronavirus epidemic.
She dedicated the song to “all the healthcare workers, who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you.”
These performances were incredible! Did you watch the singalong?
