HELENA, Mont. – Jacob Mathew Frye, a 30-year old Helena man, is accused of injuring a police officer, as the officer attempted to put him into a holding cell.

Court documents allege that Frye was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor partner-family member assault.
He pushed a woman to the ground as she tried to separate him from an altercation, according to court documents.
Police say he was intoxicated and acting belligerent, and has a conviction for partner-family member assault.
When police were trying to move him to a holding cell at the detention center, Frye allegedly resisted officers, injuring one in the shoulder while trying to hit him.
The judge set bond at $25,000.
