BUTTE – Police in Butte say a man who stole money from two hotels on Friday pulled the same crime at a hotel in Oregon a week before.
This man is suspected of distracting the workers at the front desk of the Holiday Inn Express and the Fairfield Inn in Butte Friday and stole more than $250 from the register when they were away.
Police in Oregon report the same man did the same thing at a Holiday in Pendleton, Ore., on Aug. 15.
Police have no new leads on the suspect and anyone with information is asked to call Butte police at 497-1120.
