POLSON – A hiker who was reported missing earlier this week in the Mission Valley has been found dead.
Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says that the body of Michael Eugene Wheeler 52, was found on Tuesday morning in the Pistol Creek area.
Wheeler became separated from a family member when a heavy storm blew in. He was reported missing on Monday night.
