BUTTE – Before Butte city officials finish their 2019 fiscal year budget, they say they first want to hear from the public.
The city is asking Butte residents to take an online survey to give feedback to the chief executive and council of commissioners on where they would like to prioritize spending for this coming fiscal year.
A link to the survey is available on the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow website. The survey will be open until the middle of May.
“And this year there are several questions on roads and that always tends to be one of the top priorities for the public, and this year we’re looking at creating a new special improvement district, a county-wide special improvement district, so we can do more work on roads here in the local government,” said Finance and Budget Director Deanette Gleason.
Surveys will remain anonymous and people who don’t have Internet access can pick up paper surveys in the courthouse in the chief executive’s office.
