MISSOULA – Police are investigating after a Missoula casino was robbed on Friday night.
Officers responded to reports of a robbery and shots fired around 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Nickel Ante Casino.
Missoula Police Sgt. Mike Hebert says the suspect entered the casino and demanded money from the clerk.
Once the clerk gave the suspect the money, he then fled the scene on foot.
Authorities say when two witnesses pursued the suspect he fired shots in their direction.
No one was injured and the suspect was captured by police.
Police found him near the casino with a weapon and a large amount of cash in his possession.
