Belgrade man arrested on suspicion of armed robbery

A Belgrade man is behind bars after being arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Bozeman on Thursday.

According to the Bozeman Police Department, Jeffrey King, 58, is suspected of armed robbery at the Healthcare Massage at 1707 West Oak St on Thursday, June 14.

King was arrested on Friday, June 15 after detectives identified him as a suspect. Patrol officers had located King’s vehicle in Bozeman and took him into custody without incident.

On Thursday, June 14, 2018, at approximately 2:30 pm, Bozeman Police responded to a report of an armed robbery when a masked male had brandished a handgun and demanded money at the Healthcare Massage.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled on foot prior to officer’s arrival. Officers from the Bozeman Police, MSU Police, and Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office were unable to locate him at that time.

King was charged with Robbery and is currently being held without bond at the Gallatin County Detention Center.
