Mallory Peebles joins the KBZK news team as the weekday reporter who brings more than 6 years of experience in television news.
Southwestern Minnesota is where Mallory began her career in broadcast, starting as a reporter and then moving to the position of weekend anchor. Similar to the farming community where she graduated college, CSU Stanislaus, Mallory fell in love with the small town charm. While on assignment covering an ice fishing tournament she met the man she would later marry. Together they moved to Alaska pursuing their careers, hunting, fishing and starting a family.
Reporting news in The Last Frontier afforded Mallory many once in a lifetime opportunities like being just yards away from wild polar bears, dog sledding on a glacier, helicopter views of an avalanche cutting off an oil hub city from all road access, visiting remote villages and touring world-class mines in the most challenging conditions on earth.
Mallory has plenty of stories she would love to share, however hearing from you is what she wants most. Please follow her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts for a look at what she’s reporting or Montana adventures with her husband and two kids.
