Update: Daniel Grady, 26, was booked into the Missoula jail on the suspicion of negligent homicide and failure to remain at the scene
MISSOULA – A 22-year-old woman died near Lowell School on Sunday morning in Missoula in a suspected hit and run.
The Missoula City Police and emergency personnel responded around 2:26 a.m. to reports of a woman in the road on Phillips Street.
Emergency responders arrived to find the woman had died.
Sargent Jerry Odlin with the Missoula Police Department said it appeared that the woman had been struck by a vehicle.
A search warrant was issued Sunday morning for the area of North Russell Street in relation to the case.
The name of the victim has not yet been released and the investigation is ongoing.
