BUTTE: LOW: 47°; HIGH THURSDAY: 87°. The rest of this week Butte will experience a warming and drying trend, in fact, look for a significant rise in temperatures by Friday reaching the lower 90s. Tonight into Thursday morning temperatures should stay in the upper 40s with clear skies and light winds.
DILLON: LOW: 46°; HIGH THURSDAY: 88°. Dillon no more record lows for you for the rest of the week. Warming and drying trend begins Wednesday afternoon and a significant jump in temperatures is coming Thursday through Saturday. Start planning on some extreme heat by Friday.
WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 39°; HIGH THURSDAY: 82°. A frosty start to your Wednesday this morning with temperatures down into the upper 20s but going forward temperatures will be warming both at night and more so during the day. A dry and warm weather pattern is beginning Wednesday afternoon and should continue into Saturday.

A building and expanding High pressure ridge will allow temperatures to rise sharply for the rest of the week. With near record lows Wednesday morning to near record highs by Friday. Start preparing for a significant heat wave to impact Montana by the end of the week. A mostly dry cold front will pass through on Saturday and should help temperatures drop closer to seasonal averages this weekend.
