PARK COUNTY – The Park County Sheriff’s Office reports that it is seeking 37-year-old Travis Bryant, still at large after a pursuit ended near the Duck Creek area in Park County.

The Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement:

On July 19, 2018 at around 4:30 pm Park County Dispatch was advised of a pursuit occurring in Sweetgrass County, headed west towards Park County.  The pursuit, initiated by a Sweetgrass County Deputy, eventually ended up in Park County in the Duck Creek area.  Park County Sheriff’s Deputies as well as Montana Highway Patrol and Forest Service Law Enforcement responded to the area to assist.

The suspect vehicle, a 2005 Black Dodge 2500 Ram bearing Colorado plates fled through private property and the pursuing Officers lost sight of the vehicle.  The owner of the vehicle is 37 year old Travis Bryant.  As Officers searched the area, we received tips that local residents may have witnessed some people walking in a field in the area.  We also received a call for an ambulance in that same area for an individual possibly having seizures.

Officers responded, with the help of local residents, to the area of the 911 complaint, where they found two individuals.  Both individuals were suspected of being involved in the pursuit.  Both were taken into custody, however the driver and owner of the vehicle, Travis Bryant is still at large.

Officers searched the area into the night but were unable to locate Travis Bryant.  We did however locate the vehicle crashed in a ravine.  Park County Deputies flew in a helicopter the next morning in an attempt to locate Travis Bryant and were unsuccessful.  Sweetgrass County Deputies and a Forest Service LE also assisted with search efforts from the ground.

At approximately 2:50 pm on July 20th, we received a tip that a local resident had contact on a road in the area with the suspect, Travis Bryant.  Park County and Sweetgrass Deputies along with two K9 Units (One from Livingston PD and One from Park County Sheriff’s Office) searched the area again, with the help of a helicopter.

Search efforts up to now have been unsuccessful.  Park County and Sweetgrass Sheriff’s Offices continue to search the area for Travis Bryant.   Travis Bryant is on foot and may still be in the area.  He has felony warrants out of Colorado and warrants here are pending.  Please call 911 if you see him.

We will send out updates as they become available.
