MOLT – Cooler temperatures over the weekend helped in the battle against the Medicine Man Fire near Molt.
The fire is now estimated at 550 acres, and is about 85% contained.
The fire started Thursday evening, and was likely started by a lightening strike.
Interim DES coordinator Kent O’Donnell said they hope the cooler weather on Monday evening will help them get the fire fully under control, before things heat up again towards the middle of the week.
