DILLON – Montana Department of Transportation has CLOSED I-15 from Dillon to Monida pass Monday evening. MDT did not say why the interstate is closed, however, a severe winter storm is in the region and there has been considerable areas of heavy snow and blowing and drifting snow across SW Montana.
MDT did not say when the interstate would re-open.
Other road closures due to blizzard-like conditions have been in effect for over 24 hours heading into Island Park, ID and include MT 87 Raynolds Pass and US 20 Targhee Pass near West Yellowstone.
