Big Horn County announced its fifth death due to COVID-19 Sunday afternoon. The deceased was a woman in her 70s.
The woman was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and was hospitalized prior to her death.
Big Horn County has 48 active cases. Of those, 45 patients are quarantining and recovering at home, and three are currently hospitalized. Recoveries in the county total 63.
