Butte Central High School’s next two football games have been canceled due to COVID-19 cases

BUTTE — Butte Central High School’s next two football games have been canceled after more positive covid-19 cases were reported at the Butte school.

Two positive cases of Covid-19 were reported recently at the Butte school, including one football player, according to Butte Central President Don Peoples Jr.

The Maroons have canceled its Friday home game against Columbia Falls and its Oct. 30^th game against Stevensville.

Peoples said Butte Central is looking for an opponent who isn’t in the playoffs that would like to play the Maroons on Nov. 3^rd or 4^th for the final game of the season.
