BUTTE — Butte-Silver Bow today announced Tuesday that all non-essential government buildings will temporarily remain closed to in-person business due to high COVID-19 numbers in the area. Butte-Silver Bow’s offices are staffed with employees who will continue to offer their full range of services online or by phone and email from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. There are drop boxes for payments and other documentation in front of the Courthouse at 155 W. Granite St. and the Water Utility Building at 124 W. Granite St.

Essential services such as those performed by The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department, Police Department, Public Works Department, and Health Department will continue to be fully operational.

Based on directives by Governor Bullock and our Health Officer, officials say it is imperative at this time to keep both employees and citizens safe by limiting in-person contact.
