Local health officials are reporting another confirmed COVID-19 case in Missoula County.

The Missoula City-County Health Department reported on Monday morning that there are now 23 confirmed cases.

The health department said in a social media post that officials are “actively following up to learn more details about the individual's exposure risk and travel history, and to identify and communicate with anyone who may have been in close contact with the patient.”

It is also noted that people who have not been contacted by the health department or developed symptoms do not need to be tested.

Gov. Steve Bullock’s orders closing public schools and requiring people to stay home -- except for essential activities -- are both currently set to expire April 10.
