Antisemitic fliers discovered in Butte neighborhood

BUTTE - Police in Butte report hundreds of fliers with an anti-Semitic message were distributed on car windshields at front porches of homes through the Floral Park neighborhood in Butte late Monday or early Tuesday morning.

Police say this message of hate could be considered intimidation or other crimes.

“Obviously anybody who's out distributing those at night would be in violation of the governor's orders for essential travel only, so we're looking at a number of crimes that were committed by this person or persons. Also there are federal hate crimes that could come into place,” said Butte Sheriff Ed Lester.

Police are seeking doorbell camera footage from anyone in the neighborhood that may help identify the suspects.
