Armed robbery in Bigfork triggers school lock-down

Schools in Bigfork are under lock-down for safety precautions, after a woman reportedly robbed a casino at gunpoint on Tuesday.

Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino tells MTN News they are attempting to find the person who robbed the Jackpot Casino on Highway 35 Tuesday at around 9:25 a.m.

There were no injuries reported.

Sheriff's deputies and a Two Bear Air helicopter are in the area looking for the suspect. It is unknown at this time if the suspect left on foot or vehicle.

The woman is described as 5'2"-5'6", brown hair, black puffy coat, jeans with holes in front, brown Ugg-type boots, and a black beanie hat with design.
