KALISPELL – The man accused of firing shots in a Kalispell neighborhood on Thursday night is facing several charges.
Cody Lindahl, 22, is currently charged with assault on a police officer, assault with a weapon, burglary, bail jumping, and attempted negligent homicide.
The charges could change once Lindahl appears in court on February 14.
Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino, who is in the first month of his new job, wants to thank all the law enforcement agencies involved.
“This was a very high-stress incident for us, I’m glad our officers were ok, and the suspect is ok. This could have been much worse with the dynamics that we’re now seeing during our investigation,” Sheriff Heino said.
If Lindahl is charged with attempted negligent homicide, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
