Kalispell teen killed after vehicle slams into home

KALISPELL – A man is facing a Vehicular Negligent Homicide charge after ramming into a home in Evergreen and killing a teen as she slept.

Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino says that at around 2 a.m. on Friday a vehicle traveling on Spring Creek Drive struck a home, killing Erin Howk, 15, of Kalispell.

The driver, Jared Parsons, 31, of Kalispell is currently being held without bond in the Flathead County jail on pending Vehicular Negligent Homicide, Failure to remain at the Scene of an Accident and Driving while Suspended charges.

The case is currently under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
