Missoula Police initially told KPAX News they were searching for a suspect involved in a Missoula fatal shooting.
MPD is now reporting they are no longer searching for a suspect, instead investigating the incident as a “weapons discharge.”
When asked if this was an accidental shooting, MPD was unable to confirm.
Missoula Police is the lead investigators in this case and currently have no more information or details to release to the public.
This is an ongoing investigation.
