Man arrested after disturbance with weapon in Clarkston

A man is behind bars after allegedly shooting several rounds into a residence in Clarkston late Wednesday night.

According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 caller reported a disturbance with a weapon in Clarkston.

In a media release, the Sheriff’s Office said three individuals who live in the area were involved in two separate altercations. One the individuals, a 39-year-old man, reportedly confessed to firing multiple rounds from a pistol into the residence of one of the other people involved in the disputes.

The Sheriff’s Office said no one was in the residence at the time, and no one was injured in the incident.

The man was arrested for criminal endangerment, according to the media release, and is being held at the Gallatin County Detention Center pending an initial appearance in Justice Court.
