BUTTE — Several Butte agencies will be hosting an event on Thursday that will help butte's homeless connect with much needed services.
The Maroon Activity Center will be the place for the annual homeless service connection event that provides the homeless with dental and health care and gets them in touch with other community services.
Plus, they can also get a shower and a free haircut.
“They’re not able to shower every day or get things like that, and get their haircut, and you'd be surprised on just something small like that, it kind of changes their attitude,” said Steve Fournier of Action Inc.
The event starts at 8:30 in the morning Thursday and runs until 1 p.m.
