BUTTE – Montana Tech’s 2nd annual fundraiser was even better than last year’s as donors proved more generous.
Beginning on Tuesday the campus held its 48-hour digital fundraising drive called DayOne, in which Montana Tech Alumni and supporters could donate to 27 different campus projects and scholarships. This year’s drive brought in nearly $190,000 from more than 500 donors.
“All of the funds for DayOne in some way or other benefit the people, places, and programs of Montana Tech,” said DayOne Organizer Shannon Panisko.
This tops last year’s fundraiser which brought in slightly more than $100,000 from 288 donors.
