DRUMMOND – More severe winter weather in the forecast has prompted school officials in Drummond to make some changes to their normal schedule.
Worsening conditions weather conditions are expected to hit the area at around 3 p.m. on Monday and last through the overnight.
The forecast has prompted school administrators to announce all students will have an early release — at 2 p.m. — on Monday. Two bus routes will also run at 2 p.m. However, the Helmville bus had already been canceled.
School officials also report that school will start two hours late on Tuesday.
In a Facebook post, the school district stated, “We apologize for all the changes and updates. Our number one priority and concern is for student and staff safety.”
