BUTTE, Mont. – The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest has announced that Thompson Park is scheduled to open Wednesday, May 1, for the summer and fall.
Thompson Park will be open daily from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. through Labor Day. After that, the 3500-acre park will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October.
The Forest Service says it, along with volunteer crews, will be clearing trails, and some trails may take longer to open due to heavy snow.
