BOZEMAN, Mont. – Cellular Plus, the Verizon authorized retailer, is giving away backpacks filled with school supplies this Saturday.
There’s no purchase necessary and each child must have an adult with them.
Cellular Plus is holding the giveaway for the first time this year, and Marketing Director Merisa Saunders says the company just wanted to give back to the community.
“We wanted to help kids start the school year off right. We know that it can be kind of a tough time financially for some families, to be able to get everything they need for school,” Saunders said. “Our goal really was to just ease that burden and help kids start the school year off right with a new backpack and hopefully a little bit of confidence and the ability to be prepared.”
The following locations will have backpacks on Saturday, July, 27. The giveaway is from 10 a.m. -2 p.m.:
