Montana's Stay At Home order forced the cancellation of the Billings Art Walk. But some of the art can be seen online.
Stapleton Gallery at 104 North Broadway in downtown Billings put a virtual art walk on its website.
Gallery Owner Jeremiah Young said the virtual tour drew more than the few hundred that would visit on a normal art walk night.
Young said he wanted people to see the work of the 12 artists on display.
"This is a great way for us to share what they're doing," Young said. "And the gallery just looked so beautiful. We had already prepared if for the art walk already and we thought, we just have to share this. It's maybe no substitute for being there in person, but it's pretty great. The silver lining I guess is that people will maybe sit and really ponder the art. They will go at their own pace and really look carefully."
