BUTTE - Butte's Front Line Appreciation Group, or FLAG, has been working with local restaurants to prepare meals that are donated and delivered to hospital workers and first responders in the community.

FLAG takes donations to give to Butte restaurants, which then make the meals for those working hard during the coronavirus outbreak.

“It gets me excited about what I do, it really does. It makes me feel like I’m contributing something that is pretty awesome to the community,” said Sonia Zachow, the owner La Casa Toscana restaurant.

People can make donations to Butte FLAG at the Headwaters RC&D website or at the Butte Front Line Appreciation Group’s Facebook page.
