Around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, multiple Butte agencies responded to a report of a downed aircraft near I-15 between Divide and Moose Creek. Emergency responders investigated and determined that no airplane had crashed, according to Sheriff Ed Lester.
Sheriff Lester said in a media release a bush plane that intentionally landed in the area was reported as a possible crash, and there is no cause for concern.
Butte Police, A-1 Ambulance, Butte Fire Rescue, and 15-90 Search and Rescue all responded to the call.
