BUTTE — Library staff at the Butte-Silver Bow Public Library have announced changes due to the recent county policy changes.

Here's what the staff released early Friday evening:

In response to recent County policy changes, Butte-Silver Bow Public Library will immediately discontinue face to face interactions.
We will continue to provide curbside service for patrons seeking library materials. Please call the library at 723-3361 to request your items. We will then bring the items to the door for you to pick up. This service will be available by appointment Monday-Friday 10-5. Call for Saturday availability.

The Children's Library has put together story time packs. These packs include 5 books plus crafts for kids ages 0-12. Limit 2 packs per household. Additional crafts are available for larger families.

Library staff will be available for help via phone. We can still answer questions, gather materials for pick up and help with library accounts/downloadable questions.
All BSBPL library card holders are eligible for Montana Library2Go access. Montana Library2Go has recently received more funding in order to offer more eBook and Audio book downloable to personal devices. This service offers fiction and non-fiction titles for adults, teens, and children. For help, please call the library and we will talk you through how to access this service.

BSBPL thanks the public for it's patience as we work through these difficult and changing times. For more information, please call the library at 723-3361 or visit our website at www.buttepubliclibrary.info [buttepubliclibrary.info]
