DILLON — DILLON - An official with the City of Dillon confirmed the city's mayor resigned Wednesday evening.
Mayor John McGinley unexpectedly announced he was resigning from the office he's held since 2022 during Wednesday's Dillon City Council meeting, an employee with the city told MTN News. The staff member did not state the reason.
A message was left with McGinley seeking comment.
