Most rural school districts around Cascade County and Great Falls Central Catholic High School will be closed for in-person learning on Monday, November 9, due to dangerous winter weather.

These are the school buildings that will be closed tomorrow:

  • Geyser Public School
  • Simms High School
  • Fort Shaw Elementary
  • Cascade School (will still have online learning)
  • Centerville School
  • Fairfield Public Schools
  • Lewistown Public Schools
  • Geraldine Public School

Great Falls Central Catholic High School will transition to remote learning for the day. North Star Schools will delay their start time two hours to allow roads to be cleared and for daylight travel to school. They will open at 10 a.m. Parents in Havre Public Schools will find out if Monday is a remote learning day by 6:30 a.m. that morning, through Infinite Campus messenger.

The Blizzard Warning will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Monday for north-central Montana. We will update you if we learn more.
