BIG SKY, Mont. – The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 191 near Big Sky.
Officials say a pickup was traveling southbound at mile marker 50 around noon when it ran off the road and ended up in the Gallatin River on its top.
The driver, a 41-year-old man from Belgrade, was dead at the scene.
An identity has not been released at this time.
