Single-car accident leaves one dead in Big Horn County

BIG HORN COUNTY – A  single-car accident Friday night in Big Horn county left one person dead and two injured.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, around 10:30 p.m. Friday, a car fleeing from the Bureau of Indian Affairs was going westbound on highway 212, lost control and crashed.

A 17 -year-old male and a 21-year-old female, were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car.

A 15-year-old girl was also in the vehicle.

The male died at the scene of the accident and the two females were transported to a hospital in Billings.

Alcohol and speed are considered factors.
