BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Museum of the Rockies is offering free admission for furloughed government workers during this government shutdown.
Admission will be waived for all furloughed federal workers and up to four of their family members who want to enjoy the exhibits and the planetarium that the museum has to offer. Director of Marketing, Alicia Thompson says that this an opportunity for the museum to give back to workers during tough financial times.
“We are a nonprofit and we survive on the generosity of sponsors, donor, patrons, members, and visitors, to support what we do here and we just felt it was our turn to give back,” Thompson said.
Montana State men’s basketball is also offering free tickets for furloughed federal workers for Saturday’s game.
