LONEPINE — A 57-year-old Elmo man died Thursday, July 2, in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Lonepine.
According to a report from the Montana Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 9:17 p.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and began to slide, hit a barbed wire fence and rolled.
MHP said the man was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash.
