BUTTE - Butte's Farmer's Market will go on this summer in Uptown Butte.

There will be social distancing requirements to prevent exposure to coronavirus during the market, which occurs every Saturday on Park Street. Organizers are glad the market will continue after many summer events have been closed.

“It's important, it's the heart of the area in the summer and we love having the people be able to come through and get stuff, but also to enjoy the different businesses that are close by, which will be open then and they'll be able to go check out the stores,” said George Everett with Mainstreet Uptown Butte.

The farmer's market starts May 23 and runs every Saturday until Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
