Snow and gusty wind for your Sunday

Sunday’s Forecast:
Expect scattered snow showers and gusty wind to dominate your Sunday.  Snow totals for the valleys are expected to stay between 1”-2” with passes picking up between 3”-6” with as much as 8” possible.  The gusty wind will reduce visibility with sustained wind between 15-25 mph out of the west to the northwest with gusts between 30 and 40 mph.

BOZEMAN: High: 31; Low: 3. Scattered snow showers are expected with between 1”-2” of total accumulation expected.  Gusty wind up to 40 mph will be possible.

BUTTE: High:  33; Low:  -3. Snow is expected with as much as an inch possible.  Look for gusty wind near 35 mph.

DILLON: High: 30; Low: 0. Cold with light snow and a gusty west wind near 30 to 40 mph for your Sunday afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 22; Low: -10. Cold with scattered snow showers expected for the afternoon.

NEW YEAR’S EVE AND NEW YEAR’S DAY: 
While snow is expected to move out for New Year’s Day, you should expect an abrupt drop in temperatures with highs in the teens and subzero temperatures for the evening.  New Year’s Day will remain cold but with plenty of sunshine leaving highs struggling to make it to the low 20s.
