DIVIDE - Firefighters battled a large brush fire south Butte early Monday evening.
The fire was reported just before 6 p.m. off Interstate 15 near Moose Creek about 25 miles south of Butte.
Volunteer firefighters from Butte, Rocker and Melrose put out the flames in the dry brush that was being fanned by high winds.
