Next weather maker is a cold front by Saturday morning

BOZEMAN - A weak disturbance is producing a few isolated showers and thunderstorms from Missoula to West Yellowstone Thursday evening. This disturbance is rolling SE quickly and should be exiting our region after sunset. Most isolated thunderstorms are on the weaker side but a few could produced some brief heavy rain, small hail, gusty winds and lightning.

A Canadian cold front will drop down into Montana Friday night into Saturday morning. Forecast models show widespread rain and possible thunderstorms will have a bigger impact on northern and central Montana with only a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm for SW Montana. Bozeman will have a slightly better chance for an early morning shower Saturday morning.
