CHANGES BY THE WEEKEND
Upper-level high pressure will keep southwest Montana warm and dry through Friday, though today is expected to be among the warmest days of the week. Breezy conditions combined with very low humidity will create elevated fire weather concerns today. A significant pattern change arrives this weekend as a colder trough drops south from British Columbia. Forecast confidence is increasing for cooler temperatures, widespread precipitation, and the potential for mountain snow, with even some lower-elevation snow possibilities depending on the eventual track and strength of the system.
