BOZEMAN – A pacific storm system continues to pass through Montana Tuesday afternoon and evening. Producing areas of snow along the Rocky mountain front and Continental Divide.

Low-pressure will spin through tonight producing areas of snow and gusty winds. Snow accumulations will be light for most lower valleys but there is still a slight chance for lower valley rain early this evening changing to light snow by Wednesday morning. Freezing drizzle is possible but not widespread.

Greatest concern for Wednesday morning commutes will be wet roadways turning icy and with additional light snow throughout the morning hours plan on a slow go commute.

The overall weather pattern will be slowly improving Thursday with continued gradual warming by the end of the week into Saturday.

Another storm will bring an increasing chance for snow and cold beginning Sunday evening into Monday of next week.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

The National Weather Service continues a Winter Weather Advisory for the Butte/Blackfoot region through midnight Tuesday.

Scattered snow and gusty winds will produce snow covered and icy roads tonight and in wind prone areas look for some blowing snow with reduced visibility.
